What are handmade
Sometimes called trashy junk journals, materials that mostly would not be considered ‘good’ paper make up the pages. Paper such as advertising materials (junk mail, flyers, catalogues), vintage stationery, envelopes, greeting cards, and used folders.
Pages can be different sizes, colour, pattern, thickness…
Journal makers assemble all these elements into signatures and stitch them inside a cover. Or they add them to the pages of an altered vintage book.
