Quilts for Others

Read about the generosity of quilters

During each year as I ran my classes, I made many sample blocks or sample swatches to demonstrate techniques. The students used these samples and pieces from the scrap bin to make quilts for others, such as for the Children's Hospital in Sydney, for aged care homes and for other charities.

Even leftover strips were used to make some delightful bright log cabin blocks and some strippy quilts.

The recipients were extremely pleased to be given one of these quilts.
