In January, 2016, it was my 70th birthday!
Hard to believe isn’t it? My darling husband gave a surprise 70th birthday party (because when you turn 70 years old that is a milestone), that wasn’t a surprise because he couldn’t keep lying to me.
The girlfriends from here and in town — even one husband who is also a friend — were all here and we had a lovely afternoon.

Bob had a biopsy on his nose, and the doctor made a peg to keep the pressure on the wound. I thought he looked like Pinnochio!
Kev gave Bob a pair of braces as a gift, and so on Father’s Day I gave him two new pairs because he loved them so much.

Last Friday I woke up in agony with my neck. Doctor sent me for a CT scan, couldn’t get in until yesterday at 4.30pm. He’s sending me to Bathurst now, when they call me back with an appointment to have a not too wonderful guided set of CT scan injections.
Pray for me please.
Last week we had to put Sammi to sleep.
She developed some very aggressive behaviour, and was getting vicious, but when we took her to the vet it was discovered she had some neurological problems, possibly a brain tumor.
We said goodbye to her and now Daisy is our only ‘baby’.
