Fishing for Liberty: a challenge

In 1994, I was asked to partake in a challenge. The instigator was the then president of Queensland Quilters, Faye Foster.

Faye had amassed a pile of offcuts of liberty fabrics from a manufacturer of gift lines, and asked the committee to see what they could do with them.

The pieces looked like fish, so I made Fishing for Liberty. I made it using only what I had at hand, no buying!
